Expectations of an ideal candidate:
Must have a basic understanding of PR.
Self-driven, willingness to meet and exceed expectations, takes initiative and is responsible, serious ambition to be in the PR industry.
Great decision-making skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, great at research, a quick learner.
Computer skills and some social networking (Office, Photoshop, Word Press, Facebook, Twitter, blogging).
Positive, can-do attitude, organized, and professional.
Building contacts, database management, interacting with stylists, editors.
Dealing with Publicists, press releases, magazine press clippings, new client scouting, gifting suites for events, and organizing.
Current student in a communications, PR or related field or recent graduate with BA in PR, journalism, communications or a related field. As well as a candidate that just wants to learn about publicity.
Reliable Lap top and smart phone.
