REQUIREMENTS: You MUST have at least 5 years of experience working as a lawyer in a personal injury law firm (Plaintiff or Defense). Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.

DUTIES: You will be working on high value cases and will be responsible for such cases from beginning to end (most will be in litigation from the beginning). Your duties will include the following:
Conduct routine File Reviews with case managers
Create Action Plans for each case (Identify liability and damages disputes/weaknesses and execute plans to overcome them early)
Hold your team, and yourself, responsible to execute the Action Plans
Identify Statute of Limitations dates
Prepare and File Government Claims on time.
Prepare Minor Compromise Petitions where necessary.
Identify liable parties and have your team open claims.
Call important clients once every 45 days.
Draft strategic settlement demands.
Negotiate settlements with adjustors to hit Settlement Goal.
Document client communications and negotiations in the case management system.
Collaborate closely with Paralegal and Case Managers to hit the settlement goal on each case.
Participate in firm training sessions and stay current on personal injury law developments
Maintain the utmost professional standards toward the Firm and its clients.
