A boutique personal injury law firm with an excellent reputation and diverse clientele, is currently seeking an associate attorney to join our dynamic civil litigation team. Position: Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience + case settlement commission + bonus (Total annual pay could exceed 200K!)
Responsibilities:
Manage a varied caseload, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs
Participate in all aspects of civil litigation, including court appearances, depositions, negotiations, and mediations
Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Work closely with colleagues on case strategy, legal research, and analysis
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current on legal trends, and contributing to the firm's growth
Requirements:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
1-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a focus on personal injury litigation
Admitted to practice in State of California
Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A proactive and results-oriented mindset
A commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards
