Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and restraining orders
Prepare legal documents such as RFOs, declarations, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial binders
Conduct case research, legal drafting, and cite-checking
Manage case files, court filings, and deadlines
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Handle E-filing in California state courts and local rules compliance
Qualifications:
3+ years of family law experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of California Family Code, court rules, and procedures
Proficiency in discovery, motions, and trial preparation
Excellent legal writing, organization, and multitasking skills
Experience with case management software (e.g., MyCase, Clio, or PracticePanther)
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
