Yard & Vehicle Manager
$22-25/hour
5:00AM to 1:30PM
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Yard & Vehicle Manager to oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of our vehicle fleet and yard facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills. This role is essential to maintaining our company's image and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Responsibilities:
Vehicle Maintenance:
Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and presentable, both inside and out.
Fuel vehicles regularly and monitor fuel levels.
Inspect and stock vehicles with necessary tools and supplies for daily operations.
Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed.
Yard Management:
Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring all equipment is stored properly.
Conduct regular inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols within the yard and during deliveries.
Delivery Assistance:
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries as needed.
Occasionally drive company vehicles to make deliveries or pick up supplies.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience in a similar role (yard management, fleet maintenance, etc.) preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
