We are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and manage our crating department. This position also manages a small team of 3-4 individuals, ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently and productively. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in warehouse management, with a preference for individuals who have worked with high-end furniture. Key Responsibilities:

Receiving Shipments – Oversee the receiving process to ensure shipments are properly inspected, photographed, and documented for inventory and billing purposes.

Inventory Control – Ensure all items received are properly recorded and handled, keeping racks efficiently organized.

Warehouse Organization – Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Delivery/Pickup Support – Respond to vehicles for delivery/pickup by opening the gate and backing up trucks into the dock area.

Manage the Crating Department – Allocate material usage, build crates, and ensure timely delivery of shipments.

Material Management – Maintain an appropriate quantity of materials, and when additional materials are needed to maintain operations, inform purchasing.

Training & Development – Train new hires on warehouse procedures, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to work efficiently.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in warehouse management, with preference given to those with experience in handling high-end furniture (sofas, cabinets, chairs, etc.)

Strong leadership and training abilities

Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and shipping/receiving

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Forklift certification is a plus

Paid time off is offered after 1 year of employment
