Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Day Shift)
Location: Torrance, CA
Shift: Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Position Type: Temporary with long-term employment possibilities based on performance and company needs.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining efficient operations in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of forklift experience, be certified, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks with materials and products.
Organize and maintain inventory and materials in the warehouse.
Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and report any issues.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.
Assist in general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
Forklift Certification: Must be certified to operate a sit-down forklift.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Language Skills: Must be able to speak and understand English.
Pre-Employment Screening: Must successfully complete a drug screen, E-Verify, and criminal background check.
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM.
Physical ability to lift, move, and stack materials as needed.
Benefits:
