About the Role
We are seeking a detail-obsessed Short-Term Rental Property Inspector who can also handle basic repair and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate has an OCD-level eye for detail, ensures our rentals are always guest-ready, and can fix small issues immediately.
:warning: Important: This position requires extensive driving between multiple properties (up to 5 hours per day). Applicants must be comfortable with heavy driving and have a reliable, insured vehicle. Mileage reimbursement or gas allowance may be provided.
Responsibilities
Drive between multiple rental properties daily to perform pre- and post-guest inspections.
Verify cleaning, staging, and amenities meet company standards.
Perform minor maintenance/repairs, including:
Changing AC filters, smoke/CO detector batteries, and light bulbs.
Tightening hinges, handles, and fixtures.
Patching small holes or touch-up painting.
Addressing simple plumbing (leaks, clogs) or electrical issues (outlets, switches).
Handle basic pool maintenance, including:
Checking chlorine levels.

Adding chlorine or other chemicals as directed.
Reporting any pool equipment issues.
Document and report larger issues needing specialized repair.
Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, and management.
Qualifications
Experience in property inspections, hospitality, or light maintenance preferred.
Extremely detail-oriented — nothing escapes your eye.
Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
Comfortable driving 2-5 hours daily.
Basic handyman skills and ability to handle pool chemicals safely.
Flexible availability (including some weekends and holidays).
Professional, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
