The Job:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Product Prepper. This role will be based in a home garage and involves preparing products for shipment. The position offers flexibility, requiring commitment for two days a week on a part-time basis, with compensation at minimum wage.
As a shipping assistant, you will primarily be picking, preparing, and packing merchandise that is sent to customers and to the Amazon warehouse. We desire someone who is flexible, adaptable, is comfortable with computers and attention to detail, and open to learning and performing other duties as needed in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Product Inspection and Preparation:
Inspect incoming inventory for quality and accuracy.
Prepare products for shipment according to provided guidelines.
Package products securely to ensure safe transit.
Labeling and Documentation:
Apply labels accurately and neatly to products as required.
Prepare necessary documentation for outbound shipments.
Organization and Inventory Management:
Maintain organization within the home garage workspace.
Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with the main point of contact regarding inventory status and any issues encountered.
Adherence to Guidelines:
Follow provided instructions and guidelines meticulously to ensure consistency and quality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
Reliable and punctual, able to commit to two days a week consistently.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic organizational skills to manage inventory and workspace.
Comfortable working out of a home garage environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during product preparation.
