RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Position Description:
Responsible for implementing SSOP programs including Personnel Practices and Employee Safety Lockout Tag Out Program.
Communicates with USDA inspector or any other regulatory agencies if necessary
Directs employees on daily task to ensure operation and non-operational areas are maintained cleaned during operations and equipment is ready for operations
Responsible to make sure the sanitation team attended to operation calls in timely manner
Daily attendance report to the HR department
Inspecting water pumps on the roof during raining season to make sure water pumps are in good order
Cleaning of the water flow meter daily
Carries our SSOP procedures and Master Sanitation Log & chemical dilution logs
Assist second shift sanitation during allergen changeovers
Maintains the outside premises area clean and request service from the inedible or waste service providers when needed
Received and stores chemicals upon receiving, and turns in invoices to the accounting department
Request chemical training when needed for all or new hire employees
Places PPE request to the sanitation manager
Daily communication with management communicating daily headcount or any issues during shift
Pre-op inspection trained
Completes end of work week, weekly task based on the master sanitation schedule.
Attends the waste removal service providers when on site
Attends the pest control service provide on the weekend servicing
Develop and cross-train employees
Supervises that employees follow GMP requirements and use PPE at all times when necessary
Report any unsafe equipment and employee acts
Evaluate cleaning procedures and recommend a new process
Requirements:
Employee must carry/lift up to 10 –55 lbs.
Frequent bending at waist/knees
Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear.
Most time is spent on the production floor where the use of personal protective equipment is required and there is exposure to temperature extremes, dust, and machinery.
Must be flexible to work Monday-Sunday.
