Position: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Vernon, CA

Shift: 2:00am - 10:00am

Payrate: $18 - DOE

Job Description: Play a pivotal role in upholding the quality and safety of our products throughout the receipt and dispatch process. This role is essential in ensuring that all products meet the company’s high standards and comply with industry and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to confirm quality, quantity, and accuracy, in line with company standards.

Uphold compliance with food safety protocols such as SQF, HACCP, and other relevant standards.

Record and report any quality concerns or inconsistencies, following up as needed to maintain product integrity.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to develop and refine quality control procedures.

Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.

Assist in the investigation and resolution of any customer complaints related to product quality.

Ensure accurate labeling and documentation for all shipments to meet regulatory and company standards.

Conduct periodic audits of shipping and receiving processes to identify potential areas for quality enhancement.

Regularly communicate with the Quality Assurance Manager and other relevant departments on quality matters and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.

Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards and regulations, with expertise in SQF and HACCP protocols.

Keen attention to detail, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Proficiency in quality assurance tools and software.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively
