Our Santa Clarita based moving company is recruiting and we are looking to hire drivers/foremen, packers and helpers. We are busy year-round providing local & intra and interstate moving services to our customers, and we are looking to bring on team members that can assist us with continuing to provide excellent service along the way. Experience in the household goods moving industry is a plus. Positive attitudes, English speaking and punctuality are imperative. Performance of this job can be quite physical so we encourage applicants to be motivated and have an understanding of what this line of work entails.
Packers:
We are looking to hire individuals to provide our customers with professional packing services. On the job training will be provided, but experience is a plus. Both males AND females are welcome!
Leadership Opportunities:
Drivers/foremen will be required to operate 26' straight trucks (and/or tractor/trailers for drivers who hold a CDL), load trucks & vaults, manage 2-8 man crews, properly wrap, pack and handling household goods for customers, and complete paperwork for each shipment accordingly (including but not limited to bill of ladings, pre-trip inspection reports, and inventories).
Drivers must meet the following qualifications:
Clean DMV record (if applying for a driver's position please provide an MVR which can be obtained at a local DMV office)
Legal right to work in the US
At least one year experience driving a commercial straight truck
Availability to work weekends
Household goods moving experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clean cut professional appearance (no tattoos above the shoulders or facial piercings)
Full time and part time positions available.
