SUMMARY:
Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs of fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures.
Performs preventative building maintenance duties.
Rebuild pumps and repair rectifiers.
Initiates purchase orders for supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to complete projects.
Set up and operate drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Operate company forklift, loading and unloading customer parts.
Back up for IT to handle misc computer issues.
Back up delivery driver using company vehicle.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Valid California driver’s license, clean driving record. Forklift operating experience, forklift operating certificate a plus.
