We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Staff member to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with general maintenance, especially in repairing and troubleshooting water heaters and wall heaters. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment and facilities are functioning safely, efficiently, and meet operational standards.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair water heaters and wall heaters to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Perform regular maintenance and servicing on heating systems to prevent future issues.
Conduct minor plumbing and electrical repairs as needed to support water and wall heater maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines when handling heating equipment.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and part replacements.
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and communicate repair progress effectively.
Perform other general maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor facility repairs.
Order and maintain an inventory of parts and tools needed for regular maintenance and emergency repairs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably with a focus on water and wall heaters.
Knowledge of heating systems and ability to troubleshoot and fix water heaters and wall heaters.
Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience working in a residential or commercial maintenance role.
