We are currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Person for an apartment building in Hollywood. We offer a highly supportive work environment and an opportunity to work with an amazing team.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Responsible for prioritizing and scheduling maintenance requests.
-Responsible for ordering maintenance materials, supplies and parts.
-Implement preventive maintenance program.
-Makes certain all maintenance requests are completed on a timely basis.
-Notifies the Property Supervisor of any supplies or parts necessary to complete the maintenance requests.
-Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspect grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances and major equipment.
-Maintain all storage and maintenance areas according to company standards.
-Maintain and safeguard all company maintenance inventory.
-Light cleaning of the common areas of the property.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform all essential functions satisfactorily. The requirements define the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform the essential functions. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
General knowledge of carpentry, roofing and general construction required. Must possess excellent communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
The physical demands described are representative of this that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This is a position that considers physical demands. Requirements include the ability to frequently sit, stand, walk and extend arms and hands forward and overhead, finger and grasp. Must be able to occasionally bend, crouch or stoop. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to concentrate on intricate detail with moderate interruption and to understand the theories behind several related concepts.
HISTORY:
Must have recent experience in residential property management maintenance.
