Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled a Maintenance Crew Member to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, and patching, and will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs in our apartment communities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall patching.
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and repairs.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects as needed.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and supplies used.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, painting, and patching.
- Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a property management or apartment setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
