Now Hiring: General Laborer - Cutting and Chipping Concrete Floors
Location: In Person: Cerritos, CA
Job Type: Full Time, Contract Work.
Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12pm to 8pm
Time Frame: 6 to 8 week project, with potential to extend
Start Date: Monday, Jan. 27th
About: Job duties and responsibilities will include cutting and chipping small areas of concrete warehouse floors and general clean up. You must be able to use a handheld concrete saw and roto hammer. This is a 6 to 8 week project, starting January 27th, with 1-2 days training prior to project start date. There is potential to extend employment to additional future projects.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 12pm to 8pm.
- Must have previous on-site construction experience.
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be able to use a handheld concrete saw and roto hammer.
- Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift, in a work environment that includes moving mechanical parts, and loud noise.
