Driver / Warehouse Associate Job Description

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work based on business needs or as workload requires. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will load, and unload equipment based on project needs from company trucks, you will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse is clean and equipment is stored in an organized manner. You will be required to drive from time to time to the actual projects to pick up or drop off equipment. You will also keep a detailed list of all warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for the purchasing of restocking any items that are needed

This job requires someone that can work a flexible schedule meaning sometimes you will work less than 40 hours a week and sometimes more than 40 hours a week based on business needs. You will also work some hours in the morning and some hours in the afternoon depending on the work load.

Responsibilities

Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse clean and always organized.

Communicate effectively by email, text, or in person.

Sort and organize material/equipment on racks, bins, and shelves.

Loading and unloading of company trucks.

Deliver and pick up of supplies/equipment to jobsites

Inspect equipment for damage and verify against check off list.

Conduct periodic safety inspections to company equipment and document findings

Distribution of keys for company vehicles this task is usually outside normal work hours (Based on jobsite schedule).

Facilitate inventory management and inform management of low inventory record and counts.

o Order when the minimum item count has been reached.

Marking and labeling stock and equipment.

Storing inventory in an accessible manner.

Ensure equipment trucks, and vans are properly maintained and receive repairs as necessary. Maintain a

Preventative Maintenance log for all company vehicles.

Perform minor equipment/maintenance repairs

Perform maintenance checks: regularly check warehouse equipment to ensure its in good working condition.

Enter information on a data base (Snipe-It)

Work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Report and/or notify management of any issues, discrepancies, or improvements that could be made.

Use of company electronic applications, programs, devices to keep inventory and time records.

Periodic maintenance to warehouse and ground

Other Duties as assigned

Work Schedule will be based on schedules/needs of field projects

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.

Ability to work and communicate with all levels of company staff.

Ability to deliver effective feedback both written and verbal.

A valid CA Driver License is required with a good record.

This position requires to work a split schedule.
