Requirements & Experience for CNC Lathe/operator :
- Setup and operate CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes to perform different jobs based on customer requirements.
- Inspect/ deburr parts coming on / off machines.
- 3+ years experience in CNC machine shop
- Ability to read blueprints
- Attention to detail
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
Requirements & Experience for CNC Machinist Aerospace:
- Operate 2, 3, 4 and /or 5 Axis CNC Mill Lathes to produce complex aerospace parts.
- Operate automated CNC machines, Dual Spindle, and Swiss Lathes.
- Blueprints, manuals, dispatch specification
- Operate machines on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings and programed controls.
- Select, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
- Calculate and sets-controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, fee, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input of edit computerized machine controls media.
- Stats and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions of out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required.
- Verifies conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
- Track time on each function of task by maintaining time records on BAMC.
- Minimum 3 years of CNC Experience and preferably 3 years of conventional experience.
- Experience with set-up and running several types of machines, including both Manual and CNC, Mill & Swiss
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: ANSSI Y14.5 (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing -GD&T), preferred but not required.
