Cleaner (Part-Time)
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: 2 days per week, Wednesday and Saturday
About the Role
We’re hiring a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to maintain a professional, safe, and sanitary environment for a commercial building. You’ll focus on common areas, offices, and restrooms, following a set checklist each visit.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors); restock paper goods and soap.
Empty trash and recycling; replace liners; transport waste to designated area.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; spot clean carpets and entry mats.
Dust and wipe high-touch surfaces (door handles, railings, switches, counters), filing cabinets.
Clean interior glass/partitions; spot clean walls and doors.
Disinfect kitchen/break areas; wipe appliances, Microwaves, and counters; restock supplies.
Maintain supply closet; track usage and request replenishment.
Follow opening/closing procedures (lights, doors, alarms as applicable).
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage immediately.
Adhere to safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
What We’re Looking For
6+ months of commercial or residential cleaning experience preferred (will train the right person).
Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment (vacuum, mop system, floor signs).
Clear communication skills and professional conduct around tenants/visitors.
Schedule & Work Conditions
2 days per week; typical shifts scheduled during before 7am or after 5pm to avoid tenant traffic.
Additional hours may be available for deep cleans or special projects.
Compensation & Employment
