We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a front office staff and estimator. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service and has an interest in the automotive repair industry. The ideal candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and able to manage both administrative tasks and basic vehicle damage assessments.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming first impression.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the shop.
Manage and file paperwork, including repair orders and insurance documentation.
Keep the front office area clean, organized, and presentable.
Assist in inspecting vehicles to identify visible damage and document findings.
Support senior estimators in preparing preliminary repair estimates.
Input data into estimating software and ensure accuracy.
Communicate with customers about repair needs, costs, and timelines under supervision.
Collaborate with the repair team to confirm scope and timelines for work.
Learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends, insurance protocols, and repair processes.
Requirements:
Knowledge of CCC software/ability to learn quickly.
Basic vehicle repair and industry knowledge.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Interest in learning about automotive repair and estimation.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with estimating software is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional under pressure.
Prior experience in an office or customer service role is preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
A valid driver’s license is a plus.
