About the Position:
We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician for our multi-family properties in Pasadena & Glendora, CA.
The Apartment Maintenance Technician will be responsible of property upkeep, from curb appeal and service requests to apartment turnovers and preventative maintenance, while collaborating with vendors and team members.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment buildings and grounds, including painting, plumbing, electrical.
Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and property management staff in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct regular inspections of common areas to identify and address maintenance issues.
Manage apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents in a timely manner.
Adhere to safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and maintaining a clean work environment.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the Property Manager or Supervisor.
Perform other related maintenance duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Supervisor.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of maintenance experience with multi-family properties.
Working knowledge and ability to recognize repair requirements for painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance.
Reliable transportation and a valid California Driver's license required for property visits.
Must be available for overtime, on-call emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with residents and vendors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Apartment Maintenance Technician will work primarily indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to various weather conditions.
Frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around apartment homes and community
Constantly positions self to bend, stoop, reach, lift
Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25lbs with/without assistance
Frequently lift/move/carry 5lbs
Constantly communicate, converse and exchange information with coworkers, vendors, residents and visitors
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
Ability to work in confined spaces or heights.
Ability to climb ladders, and work with arms raised overhead.
