A well-established food manufacturing company looking for a Quality Assurance Technician. QA Tech is a pivotal role in upholding the quality and safety of our products throughout the receipt and dispatch process.
Responsibilities:
100% execution of daily tasks, projects, and objectives.
Interpret, implement, and provide feedback on quality assurance standards.
Execute sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
Enforce all departments Standard Operating Procedures SOP’s and Good Manufacturing Practices GMP’s
Conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
Generates logs to documents testing, weights, temperature, times, and other measurements.
Follow through and conduct post release/post implementation testing.
Implement appropriate corrective actions.
Carry out HACCP and FSMA, Pathogen Monitoring, SQF, SSOP, & GMP programs.
Requirements:
1 to 3 years of job-related experience
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Self-starter, organized and details oriented with good planning and problem solving skills.
Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
Knowledge of Qualifty Assuarance and manufacturing process, procedures and technology.
USDA regulatory knowledge
Knowledge of plant sanitation, HACCP, FSMA, SSOP, and GMP’s
Starting Pay $18 - $22/HR DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 1st / 2AM – 10AM
