Position Overview:
Are you ready to make a real difference in someone's life? We are urgently seeking a Vietnamese or Cantonese-speaking HCA Caregiver who is passionate, reliable, and ready to start immediately. If you're someone who thrives on helping others and enjoys working in a supportive and rewarding environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist clients with daily living activities, primarily showering and grooming
-Run errands as needed for the client
-Help with meal planning and preparation
-Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning
-Provide companionship and emotional support
-Assist with mobility and transfers
-Monitor and report any changes in the client's health status
Qualifications:
-Experience in assisted living or similar environments is preferred
-Familiarity with medication administration protocols
-Compassionate approach to care, especially for clients with autism, dementia, or those in hospice
-Proficiency in Vietnamese or Cantonese
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to manage challenging behaviors with effective techniques
-Basic knowledge of first aid procedures
-Physically capable of heavy lifting and assisting with transfers
-Must be able to drive within a 25-mile radius
