Job hours are 8a-8p on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Sunday evening hours may occasionally vary to accommodate time with family.
My mother lives in an assisted living facility in Westwood. She suffers from dementia, is physically frail (she's mostly in a wheelchair), and needs help with just about everything: showering, toileting, dressing, transferring, etc., although many of those physical needs will be met by the building caregivers. More importantly, she needs a friend; someone who will keep her company, help her engage in community activities (lots to choose from), take her on outings, listen to her stories, and be like a third daughter. She's not always easy to be with, so you will need patience and firm boundaries, but caregivers usually come to love her anyway Reliability, patience, experience with dementia are a must. Likewise, YOU MUST HAVE A CAR.
