JOB SUMMARY:
Relationships with Potential Patients
Discusses cosmetic procedures with prospective patients over the phone (or via email)
Establishes value of services and why the fees are a good value
Schedules cosmetic patients and send information to callers
Surgery Counseling, Scheduling, and Follow Up
Accompanies the surgeon while he is examining cosmetic patients
Discusses fees and financial policies with patients after their consultation
Coordinates surgery scheduling with surgery center(s)
Other
Maintains proficiency with Internet applications
Maintains patient confidentiality by following HIPAA
Performs all other tasks requested by the senior staff or plastic surgeon
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Two to three years of work experience, with increased responsibility, in a surgical practice, customer service, hospitality, or travel industry
Experience with EMR (electronic health records) and Microsoft Office
Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Neat, professional appearance
Able to discuss financial arrangements
Proven ability to handle upscale clientele
