We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic urgent care and industrial medicine team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our healthcare provider to deliver exceptional medical care to patients with non-emergency conditions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to manage a diverse range of conditions, and a passion for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed.
Review and interpret lab results and imaging to develop treatment plans.
Administer and prescribe medications as per practice guidelines.
Perform minor procedures (e.g., wound suturing, splinting, and I&Ds) as required.
Provide patient education and effectively communicate treatment plans and medical instructions.
Collaborate with our physician to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Adhere to all medical protocols, regulatory standards, and best practice guidelines.
Qualifications:
Current state licensure in [State].
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
Prior experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting is preferred, but not required.
