We are looking for an individual with an eye for style, energetic and detail-oriented. We proudly strive for the best customer experience as our office transitions from a low-mid to a mid-high end optical boutique. While willing to train the right candidate, insurance expertise and billing knowledge helpful. Social media background also beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have the following special qualities:

A love of fashion brands
Min 2 yrs of experience in optical sales or optician is necessary
Excellent work ethic - always on time & passionate
Knowledge of all types of available lenses. Vision source experience preferred but not necessary.
Knowledge of contacts & contact lens training would be great!
Knowledge of VSP and Eyemed, ability to check for insurance eligibility, explain benefits to patients a plus.
Knowledge of medical insurance billing is a plus!
Spanish speaking is a plus
Be proactive - you will find things that need to get done during slower times.
Avail some Saturdays per month as the need arises.
Be open and willing to learn tasks, cross train, collaborate & grow with the team.
Additional Responsibilities:
Pre-test patients before their eye exam
Help patients select eyewear
Eyewear repairs
Answer phones, schedule appointments, greet patients
Work with our team to maintain front store cleanliness & appearance.
Place contact lens or eyeglass orders, or willing to learn.
Reconcile statements, posting charges and payments or willing to learn.
