The Medical Cannabis Practitioner Program teaches health care providers how to provide patient informational services and CBD/THC products as a Medical Cannabis Practitioner.
Due to strict federal limits on the information a physician may provide to a patient regarding cannabis, most patients are left with little or no information regarding its medicinal use, including topics such as drug interactions, methods of ingestion, dosage, titration, side effects, overdose, and formulas for specific medical conditions.
Program Objectives
The objective of the program is to provide clinical training on how to assess patients for cannabis therapy, develop individualized treatment plans, provide cannabinoid-based product(s) and monitor patient outcomes.
Training Sessions
Program participants complete 20 hours of training via live-streaming (or on-site) at the MCC in Pasadena. Participants may customize the training Sessions to accommodate their work schedule.
The training sessions include
State Regulations on providing cannabis products as a Medical Cannabis Practitioner
1. Legal sources of cannabis products provided by Practitioners
2. Clinical training on consulting patients on the medicinal use of cannabis including topics such as drug interactions, methods of ingestion, dosage, titration, side effects, formulas, and more
3. Clinical training on recommending and providing cannabis products formulated to treat specific medical conditions
4. Sources of cannabis patient referrals
Program participants include chiropractors, massage therapists, nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists and other health care providers who are interested in providing services and products for clients with a physician's approval for the medicinal use of cannabis.

Certificate of Completion
A Certificate of Completion is issued to participants who successfully complete the MCC Practitioner Training Program.
