JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee charge posting for multiple providers
Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to manage denied charges
Follow up on unpaid charges with health plans
Post payments from Payors to patients' accounts
Conduct internet research on Medicare, Medi-Cal, and healthcare organizations' websites
Utilize software tools such as Word, Excel, etc.
Handle phone calls and communicate with external entities
Bonus points for experience in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pain Management, Family Medicine, GI, Asthma & Allergy, and Ophthalmology
Additional advantages for familiarity with eClinicalWorks, DrChrono, Cal-Med, and Prime Clinical.

QUALIFICATIONS:
At least five (5) years of proficient experience in comprehensive medical billing
Thorough understanding of the California healthcare system
Strong typing skills with accuracy
Fluent in English
Proficiency in Spanish and Farsi is advantageous
