We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine clinical tasks to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Bilingual English/Spanish a MUST. Candidate must have excellent in-person and telephonic communication skills and be able to warmly greet patients as they check in for care.
Responsibilities:
FRONT OFFICE
Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Answer busy phones and schedule appointments
Perform eligibility checks prior to date of appointment
Keep missed appointment log
Support all medical staff
Be a team player
Be punctual and available everyday
BACK OFFICE
Vital and room patients
Assist patients with paperwork
Blood draws
Record results in medical record
Must have attention to detail
Must work quickly and efficiently
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification/
Bilingual English/Spanish a MUST
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
