The MCC is hiring and training individuals who are interested in providing patient information services and cannabis products as a Medical Cannabis Practitioner.
As a Medical Cannabis Practitioner, you will play an essential role in educating patients, with a physician's approval, on the effective use of cannabis; and, providing cannabis products for the treatment of specific medical conditions.
The MCC is at the forefront of providing essential cannabis education and quality cannabinoid-based products for over two decades.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a health care provider or medical cannabis patient, is helpful but not required to apply.
TRAINING PROVIDED AT NO COST
Selected applicants are required to complete 20 hours of training on providing patient information services on topics that include drug interactions, methods of ingestion, dosage, titration, and side effects.
Training includes a through knowledge of the extensive cannabinoid-based products provided by MCC Practitioners.
The Practitioner Training Syllabus highlights the state Regulations regarding providing CBD and THC products as a Medical Cannabis Practitioner.
Training is taught via live-streaming or on-site at the MCC in Pasadena. Participants may customize the training Sessions to accommodate their work schedule.
CANNABIS PRODUCTS
For two decades the MCC has provided cannabinoid-based products for qualified patients, including patients in California state-licensed residential care facilities.
Providing products for patients in residential care, has supported the development of THC and CBD products that have proven to be highly effective in treating a variety of medical conditions.
The cannabis products provided by MCC Practitioners are produced by cannabis cultivators and manufacturers who are authorized to provide cannabis products exclusively on behalf of qualified patients.
The products include a wide range formulas and ingestion methods that include sublingual sprays, topicals, capsules, pain patches, suppositories and selected cannabis strains.
COMPENSATION
In addition to consulting fees, Practitioners earn 50% of the product's selling price. Practitioner services and products are provided on an Independent Contractor basis.
MARKETING PRACTITIONER SERVICES
The MCC assists Practitioners in developing a marketing plan that includes marketing tools and on-going support that has proven to be effective in reaching patients who are interested in the medicinal use of cannabis.
