We are seeking a warm-hearted and dedicated individual to provide compassionate care for a mid bed-bound lady in her 70s. This role requires a gentle and patient approach, as well as the physical ability to assist with bathing in bed, lifting, and other daily care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with bathing and personal hygiene while in bed, ensuring comfort and dignity
Carefully lift and transfer the lady as needed, using proper techniques to prevent injury
Engage in friendly conversation and offer emotional support
Monitor the client's well-being and report any concerns to the appropriate parties
Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
Preparing meals
Qualifications:
Previous experience in caregiving, preferably with elderly or bed-bound individuals, preferred but not required
Good physical strength and stamina to assist with lifting and transferring
Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to serve others
Ability to follow instructions and protocols for safe care practices
Strong communication skills and a positive, uplifting attitude
Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to providing consistent care
Occassionally grocery shoping and driving the lady to doctor appointments.
