We are a friendly, two-doctor dental office looking for a dedicated, experienced, and well-rounded dental hygienist to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental prophylaxis.
Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
Take and update X-rays.
Perform scaling and root planing with local anesthetic.
Update and maintain probing records.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operatory and instruments throughout the day.
Communicate effectively with patients and doctors to ensure a high level of care.
Demonstrate a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility in all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of dental hygienist experience.
Must have an active RDH license in California.
Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with our two-doctor team.
Comfortable working in an environment with dogs present.
Availability to work Monday and Tuesday 8 am- 5pm, plus one half day Saturday per month.
