We have an immediate opening for an LVN in La Canada/Flintridge with a patient who is G-Tube dependent. This patient is an adult.
The qualifications are the following:
1. A minimum of one year's experience as an LVN with a G-Tube and Trach dependent patient
2. Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
3. Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
4. Ability to build rapport with patients
5. Compassionate and caring demeanor
6. Excellent written and communication skills
Your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Provide basic care and treatment
2. Work with one adult patient who is G-Tube dependent
3. Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
4. Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
5. Educate and update patient on medical treatments
This is a full time position and the hours would be either 7a-3p or 8a-4p
