Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and any potential side effects.
Conduct medication therapy management, including reviewing patient profiles for potential drug interactions or contraindications.
Assist with medications as needed, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Monitor patient outcomes related to medication therapy and make necessary adjustments in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in pharmacy practices to provide the best care possible.
Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
Valid pharmacist license in the state of California.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and medical management principles.
Experience or knowledge in pain management, critical care, pediatrics, and compounding medications is preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
