Hello!

We are a boutique cosmetic and general dental practice in the heart of Beverly Hills looking for an energetic + experienced assistant to join our friendly, outgoing team as we provide the best experience to our vibrant patient base. We request a minimum of 2 years of experience, as well as a positive and professional attitude. Must have experience in radiographs and impressions.

We have two openings, one position's availability is needed Monday-Thursday (8AM - 4PM) w/ one Saturday (9AM - 1PM) a month and the other's availability being Tuesday - Thursday (8AM - 5PM) . Please be punctual, reliable, and have dependable transportation to get to work on time.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

(May change as we re-org, prioritizing each staff member's skillset)

Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort

Setup instruments, equipment, and materials needed for the corresponding treatment/visit

Breakdown operatories after each visit and reset for the next appointment

Sterilize instruments according to regulations

Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

Undertake lab tasks as instructed

Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

Ensure each operatory is clean and well-stocked

Keep inventory on back office supplies and submit a biweekly order form before running low on stock

Skillset We Ask For:

Proven experience as dental assistant

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Understanding of health & safety regulations

Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing necessary

Excellent communication and people skills

Attention to detail

Self-sufficient

Well-organized and reliable

Able to process creative feedback for performance improvement (if needed)

High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school

Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)

This position reports directly to our office manager.
