We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Office Coordinator to join our team at Norwalk Village Dental Center. The Front Office Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dental office by managing front desk duties and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression of the dental office

Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments using our electronic scheduling system.

Billing, Posting treatment, tracing and accounting, and other front desk duties & Treatment coordination

Verify patient insurance information and process insurance claims

Collect patient payments and provide financial counseling as needed

Maintain patient records and update information accurately in our database

Coordinate with dental assistants to ensure timely patient flow

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Manage office inventory and order supplies as needed

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room

Uphold HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.

Back office work such as cleaning chairs, disinfection and sterilization.

X-rays and intraoral pictures, Dental assisting, treatment setups, training and coordination

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred

Prior experience working in a dental or medical office setting preferred

Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and dental software systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
