We are Adult Day Health Care Center helping adults with physical, emotional and mental disabilities. We need a CNA/Driver to pick up people from their residence, help them at the center and drop them off at the end of the program.
Qualifications are:
- Start work at 7:30 am
- Have high school diploma or equivalent degree
- Have empathy and desire to work with disabled people
- CNA certificate
- Be able to communicate in Spanish
- Have good driving record. We need written record of driving from DMV
- Be comfortable to drive a 7 passenger van
- Be comfortable helping people in wheelchair in and out of the van
- Be comfortable helping with hygiene, assisting in the bathroom, changing diaper
- Be able to assist with serving meals and cleanup after
- Willing to do mild activities with people in good spirit
- Be comfortable with using computer to write short report of activities (we will train you)
Upon hire, candidate must provide:
- Proof of citizenship or work permit in U.S.
- Health exam documents from a medical doctor
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Proof of CPR training
- Proof of Covid vaccination
- Clean DMV driving record. We ask for DMV record at the time of interview
- Clean record, we will do background check at the time of hire
