Bamboo Restaurant, a new and exciting Caribbean bar/restaurant in West Los Angeles, is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our team as a Server/Waiter/Waitress. Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by promptly and warmly greeting guests.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and drinks to patrons in a timely and friendly manner.
Understand and communicate our menu offerings, including any specials or recommendations.
Suggest food and beverage pairings and answer customer questions.
Prepare and serve a variety of Caribbean-inspired cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages.
Handle cash and credit transactions using a POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the dining and bar areas.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations and assistance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Server/Waiter/Waitress is preferred but not required. We welcome enthusiastic candidates who are willing to learn and grow.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
Knowledge of Caribbean cuisine and beverages is a plus.
Must be at least 21 years old for bartender position.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
