Responsibilities:
Managing Prep Schedule, Orders and Daily inventory.
Work with the team to ensure proper set-up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies.
Preparing for service (e.g. vegetables, preparing fish, rice and sauces).
Ensure that all Blue Ribbon recipes are maintained at the highest level of quality and consistency.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a high quality and timely fashion.
Work with the team to portion prep work for other shifts.
Monitor product freshness and rotate product based on a schedule created by the restaurant.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with the team and guests.
Skills and Qualifications:
Positive attitude, friendly, great personality, passionate.
Must have minimum 1 year experience working behind a sushi bar.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Strong leadership skills.
Familiar with industries best practices.
Must be able to follow all safety, health and sanitation procedures.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Must have experience fabricate big game fish.
Must have open availability to work on different shifts, day/night, weekends, and holidays.
This is a Full-Time position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
