Job Description:
We’re looking for enthusiastic, dedicated team members to join our family as Sandwich Maker / Barista / Cashier. As a key part of the MAMIE team, you will be responsible for crafting mouth-watering sandwiches, preparing delicious espresso drinks, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll also help ensure our shop remains clean, organized, and safe, all while maintaining the high standards we’re known for.
The ideal candidate is passionate about food, loves creating memorable experiences for customers, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare delicious, high-quality sandwiches and espresso drinks according to MAMIE’s recipes and standards
-Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude
-Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations and dining areas
-Follow food safety guidelines and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times
-Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy shifts
-Floor, equipment and dish cleaning is a daily task shared among all staff
Qualifications:
-Full availability, including weekends and holidays
-Previous food service experience is preferred
-Strong verbal and written communication abilities
-A passion for food and an eye for detail
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-A positive attitude and team-player mentality
-Capable of regularly lifting and handling heavy objects safely
-Must possess a valid California food handler card
