Essential Function:
-Prepare food in accordance with the Club's recipes and standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
-Prepare all required items.
-Set up line stations with needed items.
-Serve items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards.
-Notify the Executive Chef of expected shortages.
-Ensure that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.
-Assist the Executive Chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen.
-Maintain neat and professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times.
-Set up, maintain, and break down prep cook station.
-Requisition items needed to produce menu items.
-Adheres to State and local health and safety regulations.
-Cover, date, and neatly store all leftover products that are re-usable.
-Maintain the highest sanitary standards.
-Assist with other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
-This position reports to the Executive Chef.
-No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Other:
-Valid CA Food Handler Certificate is required.
-Open availability on weekends and all major holidays is required.
-Typical work days are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but may vary depending on business volume and special events.
