We're growing (again!)
Soup du Jar is an up and coming boutique food company that offers farm to table soups, sauces, bone broth, and dressings. We distribute almost exclusively via farmer's markets and online delivery. We believe in healthy, fresh ingredients (our products are vegan, vegetarian and/or with organic meats). We're also committed to sustainabilitywe financially incent our customers to return the glass jars of which our products are packaged.
We started in the Conejo Valley and are presently in the Brentwood, Calabasas, Hollywood, Marina del Rey, Melrose, Playa del Rey, Porter Ranch and Westlake Farmer's Markets. We're expanding into new markets and are looking for kind and outgoing folks with big smiles and warm personalities to represent us at our booth. If you're a "foodie", all the better!
The Torrance Farmer's market occurs every Saturday and will generally require you to be there from 7am to 1:30pm (market hours are 8am - 1pm). Generally, we'll bring everything to the Playa Vista location. You'll either drive our truck with the product from Playa Vista to Torrance, or if your vehicle is big enough and you'd prefer, you can transfer from our van to your vehicle). At the end of the event you'll take down and bring everything back to Playa Vista.
The patrons at farmer's markets are awesome, authentic and interesting. We've built great relationships with some of our customers, so be awarethere's an emotional connection that builds when you work these markets. It's really a lot of fun!
