As part of a dynamic hospitality experience, our manager will occasionally float between roles to support the various needs of the space, ensuring seamless service across all areas. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Café Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our new specialty coffee shop. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospitality and café management, excels at vendor relations and back-end logistics, and enjoys creating a welcoming space for both customers and staff. This role also involves planning and executing in-store events to build community engagement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day café operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
Maintain a warm, customer-first atmosphere that aligns with our brand vision
Manage a team of baristas and support staff
Maintain relationships with vendors for coffee, food, and supplies
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability
Maintain operational policies, including health and safety standards
Coordinate and promote café events to engage the community
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a café or coffee shop
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience with vendor relations, ordering, and back-end logistics
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of specialty coffee and café industry trends
Ability to create and oversee café events
Knowledge of cannabis and regulated industry trends
