We're assembling a passionate and skilled team for our new restaurant in Woodland Hills! Prose is seeking Line Cooks and Junior Sous Chefs to help craft exceptional dining experiences.
Line Cook Responsibilities:
Execute menu items with precision, consistency, and quality
Maintain a clean, organized workstation
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
Handle multiple orders efficiently during peak service
Collaborate with the kitchen team for seamless service
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing duties
Junior Sous Chef Responsibilities:
Support the Exec Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily operations
Train and mentor line cooks
Ensure quality control and proper food handling procedures
Assist with inventory management and ordering
Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness standards
Contribute to menu development and specials
Oversee the line during service to ensure smooth execution
What We’re Looking For:
Previous kitchen experience, but we’ll train passionate candidates
Valid California Food Handler Card
Strong work ethic and reliable transportation
Availability for evening and weekend shifts
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
