Job Description:
Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden in Mar Vista is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced server to join our Front of House (FOH) team. If you have a passion for hospitality and a love for craft beers, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
-Provide outstanding service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
-Greet and seat guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
-Present menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations on food and beverages.
-Take precise food and drink orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen staff.
-Serve orders promptly and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction.
-Monitor tables and provide attentive service throughout the meal.
-Address any guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
-Stay informed about menu changes and daily specials.
-Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations.
-Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
-Reliable, team-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
-Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.
-Knowledge of craft beers, particularly German and Belgian beers, is a plus but not required.
-Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
-Food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain one.
