Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about cooking high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work station.
Assist in the preparation and setup of the kitchen for service.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to the Executive Chef.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including prep work, cooking, and plating.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Line Cook in a busy restaurant.
Understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be available for Sunday brunch, and Thursday and Friday nights.
