We are looking for a strong DO-IT-ALL FOH supervisor who has a positive attitude and willing to go for that extra mile everyday!
Hourly rate $25-$27/hour DOE. 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs, LONG WEEKEND OFF EVERY WEEK+8 PAID holidays!+excellent benefits+ free parking
This is a very upscale and prominent company in Santa Monica that has several floors and buildings requires your absolute dedication and attention
Daily Routine:
6am-7:30am: MUST BE Punctual, clock in then start stocking the pantry floors in coordination with pantry supervisor
7:30am-7:45am: Prep and open the coffee bar to ensure coffee bar is in a prime condition for service
8am-10am: Coffee bar service
10:30am-11:30am: Admin paperwork
11:30am-2pm: Cafe lunch service
2:15pm-3:30pm: Admin paperwork and coffee bar service
3:30pm-4:15pm cleaning, counting banks and reporting.
We can train you on any of the areas you are not familiar with as long as you are willing to learn and take the bulls by the horn!
1. Supervisory experience

Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils
Serves as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process
Knowledge of Microsoft software systems especially excel
Performs other duties as assigned
2. Barista experience:
Experience in coffee bar service, smoothies and simple food prep
Friendly, excellent service skills
Confident in your communication
Works well with others in a small space
Latte art appreciated
Maintain cleanliness and serve safe environment
Knowledge of POS systems
Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards
Serves customers quickly, efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces
Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements
3. Catering Experience:
Able to set up and breakfast & lunch catering events in a timely manner
Organized and task oriented
Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
4. Cashier Experience:
Experience with cafe menu, allergy knowledge as well as making people right at home when visiting the cafe
Serves customers quickly, efficiently and prevents delays in serving lines
Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments
Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction
Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers
Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards
5. Pantry Experience:
Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment on office floors
Able to lift 20lbs with correct lifting methods
Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards. Serves food neatly and attractively per standard
Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product
