Job Title: Crew Lead
base pay + avg tips = $24 - $26/hr
Position Overview:
The Crew Lead supports daily restaurant operations by leading and motivating team members, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness. The Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing front-line operations during assigned shifts, ensuring team members stay on task, follow procedures, and maintain service standards. They support training efforts by reinforcing best practices and coaching teammates in real time to deliver a consistently great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team during shifts to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are met at all times
- Open or close the restaurant following proper procedures and checklists
- Train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members
- Monitor food prep and portion control to maintain consistency and minimize waste
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and end-of-day reconciliations accurately
- Communicate effectively with the management team about shift performance and any issues
- Enforce company policies and model our core values
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of QSR or food service experience, with leadership responsibilities preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
